The Hintertomb series can be done around Lower Pthumeru, but there's nothing of note in there in terms of top tier gems and etc. If you do not have PS+, you will have to manually create your own D5 FRCs and hope that you get the bosses you need. You will still have to make the Pthumeru Ihyll FRC root. This means that you do not necessarily have to beat the Layer 3 bosses in Great Isz and Lower Loran if you purchase the Sinister Isz root and Sinister Lower Loran root.
